Year 2

Congratulations on the completion of yet another term. Students have had a jam-packed term learning and participating in various school activities. Year 2 students finished off by learning the basic skills of first aid provided by St John’s Ambulance.

In English, students have been learning about writing procedures. They now know about the structure and the importance of making sure all steps are in order. During maths classes, students have been looking at maps and understanding location and position. In integrated studies, students have been focusing on the location of Australia amongst other continents.

As teachers, we would appreciate all parents consistently logging onto SEQTA in order to be informed of any updates. As of this term, students will be marked on the completion of homework, readers and online tasks. Students are expected to complete their homework in a timely manner. If there are any issues, please do not hesitate to let the classroom teacher know.
